I was talking to a friend the other day and sharing some news and just having a good conversation. When she said to me I appreciate you letting me know about the good things going on in your life and asking how I'm doing. I told her I always like to stop by and talk to you because you are so nice and you always have a smile on your face.
She said to me, I always smile because you smile at me first.
I walked away thi...Read Full Post »

I was having some pain in my knee a few months ago. I had surgery on that knee years ago and every so often i would get some aches in that knee. Well, this pain was enough to send me to the doctor. He took some xrays and looked at my knee, twisted it back and forth which made it hurt worse, then he said I can give you something to ease the pain and lower the inflammation. When you are forced to sit around and wait, during that time your patience can really be tested. You want to do the millions of things that are running through your mind but you can't because you have to sit and wait. Some people may feel like time is dragging by slowly just to torture them. Or, others may feel like time is flying by at top speed and they have no choice but to sit by and wait.
I think that when I'm i...Read Full Post »

Then I think, maybe God is holding off with the bigger blessings because he wants to see how well you are handling the smaller day-to-day ones. How will you handle a bigger, better home/car/career/relationship/finances when you are not taking care of the not so big home/car/career/relatio...Read Full Post »

The other day, I was rushing around , trying to get ready for work. So part of my morning routine was to put on body lotion after my morning shower. So I went to my "supply" bag of extra shower gels, hand sanitizers etc.... I reached in and pulled out a bottle and started rubbing it on me and thinking, man this lotion is extra thick and taking more effort to smooth into my skin. This morning, I looked at the bottle and was surprised to see that the bottle I thou...Read Full Post »
